Three steps for component production

1. Powder preparation
preparation_poudre

Depending on the shaping process of the ceramic component, the raw material can be in any ofthree forms:

We have all of the industrial equipment necessary to process each of these three states:

• Milling and Mixing

• Spray drying and Atomization

• Selection

2. Shaping

The choice of ceramic shaping process depends on the component to be produced, its size, shape, dimensional tolerances, microstructural characteristics and quantity of items to be manufactured. Inorder to match the requirements for each component, we use various shaping procedures:

• Uniaxial pressing

• Isostatic pressing

• Tape casting

• Pressure casting

• Extrusion

• Injection

• Rapid prototyping

3. Thermal treatment

We have a park equipped with kilns of various capacities, which allows us to cover a wide range ofbaking temperatures for ceramic materials.
The kilns can have controlled atmospheres: neutral, oxidizing, reducing.

High capacity kilns
Nitrogen-atmosphere kiln: Max temp = 2000°C
Air-atmosphere electric kiln: Max temp = 1600°C
Tubular electric kiln: Max temp = 1300°C

Low capacity kilns
Nitrogen-atmosphere kiln: Max temp = 2000°C
Air-atmosphere electric kiln: Max temp = 1750°C

Debinding
Debinding ovens: Max temp = 600°C

For the best and most reliable manufacturing process, CTTC uses a targeted analysis:

>> Physical-chemical characterization
>> Microstructural characterization

>> Thermal characterization
>> Mechanical characterization
